The beauty of my processes are in the experimental play they involve,
these trials were worked on for a period of 4 months, objects are studied, deconstructed, cast in many materials, their literal is extended and concepts explored. this work progressed onto a final piece titled Sentience #1, exhibited @ Synergy exhibition, Riverlights Derby, 2018.

Experimentation using transparent cellophane, photography and silk screen printing, the process of building up the imagery was a repetitive action achieved over a period of 4 days.
Working with the sun rise positioned perfectly at 8am i was able to form & capture shadows, I mounted the cellophane upon an exterior wall and photographed the shadowed forms of the jam jars which I then transported onto a silk screen, then printed back onto the cellophane forming a layering of repetition, repeating the same process over again in the following days.
Although this process can be achieved very simply by way of 2D digital photoshop and perhaps less time consuming, I wanted to achieve a more physical interaction with my idea and create a realization of the importance of material experimentation within my work and ethos.

an early investigation into what can be achieved by kiln firing "man-made" fibres which are submerged into ceramic slip, the pieces were then fired at different temperatures using both Gas and electric kilns, the response was interesting especially the use of Fiberglass,

The final outcome of these trials formed a series of works exhibited @ Brittania Mill Studios  Titled "Process" 2015.
